The Cure for Asking Dumb Questions
You ask dumb questions. Until you know all that there is to know about a subject you’re going to ask dumb questions. Your questions only get better when you understand more. And a lot of times the only way to understand more is to ask questions, that someone would consider dumb.
So what’s the solution to asking dumb questions? Keep asking questions until you’re an expert.
What if you refuse to ask dumb questions (who wants to look dumb in front of their peers)? If you refuse to ask dumb questions then you’re just going to end up being dumb, right?
By the way, if you’re new at something your peers should know that you don’t know anything. Treating someone like they’re dumb for trying to learn is…well…just dumb.
